That's because the US is such a prude nation and has lived such a shielded
life for so many years. Why should the world has to cater to the tastes
of an immature nature with an almighty ego and even listen to it's shock
when it discovers that there's a real world out there with real people
and certain realities.

This goes under the category of people destroying or doing something out
of plain ignorance and/or fear (McCarthy anybody?). We shouldn't police
ourselves; it's our government afterall that has to follow popular rule
(then maybe not). We should be policing our government.
