AppleWorks question...
I'm running AppleWorks on my GS, I think version 2.0, and I use it for only
one thing...generating my monthly invoices. At the moment, I keep my
timesheet on an AppleWorks spreadsheet, and each month I copy the month's
time data to an AWP document, then import it into GraphicWriter so that I
can take advantage of actually having a GS.
Here's the question. There are fields of the spreadsheet which represent
times, adapted to a 100-count clock to keep it simple. So, 3:15pm is
listed as 15.25, and so on. Trouble is, when I import this via the
AppleWorks clipboard to the word processor, my fixed decimals get
trounced. "16.00" becomes "16" and "11.50" becomes "11.5". And I have to
go back through and reconvert the numbers, a major P.I.T.A.
Is there a way to get AppleWorks to retain the number format on the
clipboard? Alternatively, is there a decent GS spreadsheet that will
export a block of cells to a formatted text document?
Thanks in advance...
