I think that the best Apple II database of all time is DB Master Pro.  
Unfortunately, it is no longer supported since the company that made it 
is out of business.  Still works great though.  In recent years 
AppleWorks has adopted many of the features of DB Master, so it is 
running a close second.  Both have relational capabilities.
