you NEED more RAM.. 512K isn't enough to do squat.  The general consensus
is that while 2MB is doable, things are much better with 4Meg.

The RAM drive is memory set aside from total system memory to use as a
ramdisk.  this RAM is thus not avaialble for use by programs - such as the
operating system.  (see why 4MB is de-rigour?)

the checkmark merely means that 0K is th default value 

also related, get system 6.0.1 - downloadable from GEnie or Delphi
onlineservices, or it SHOULD be available at your local user group.  Of
course, you will NEED more RAM to run it.
