CDSC vs. CDSC+

Anybody know the difference between the CDSC+ and CDSC Apple CDROM units? 
I have both an external CDSC unit as well as an internal Sony CDU-541-22 
CDSC mechanism, but am unsure how to tell what "version" of the CDROM 
drive they are... The manual I got with the external unit said nothing 
about being a "CDSC+" so I assume that I have a regular CDSC. The 
internal unit I have no idea either, but it was cheap, and I picked it up 
in hopes of finding an external home for it someday :)

On that note, anybody know if it is possible to hook up TWO CDROM units 
under GS/OS? I can't hook mine both up at present, as I only have one 
SCSI terminator, so can only have a one device chain for the time being...
 Wondering if it would be possible to have the CDREMOTE playing an audio 
CD on one drive while the other one is available for perusing directories?
