The local dealer here wouldn't perform the upgrade unless I had a
UniDisk 3.5 unit that wouldn't work and required the motherboard replacement.
Obviously, sometime in the dark ages, someone has altered my IIc. I have
no problem with 9600 bps connects on mine, even though it has the
original (255 or FF, depending on method) ROM's, YMMV.
