OK, for those of you who don't know yet, this is the official word on Wolf GS:
 
Wolf began development (I think) shortly after Out of This World, and has some
relation to the SNES cartridge. A fully greyscale version was supposedly
operational around a year ago, and Burgerbill got Scott Everts to do the
graphics conversions. Vitesse started taking orders a few months bac and is
getting upset, due to no visible progress from Bill... I heard that there was a
problem with the sound driver (?)
 
Bill was showing off the demo at Kansasfest, and I don't know how far he's
gotten with the finished project. My beta is quite playable but minus some
integral features and has a few bugs. Bill himself and a scant few beta testers
currently have a copy. (I have a copy that I'm reviewing for II Alive.)
 
Whether or not it ever sees publication, I don't know, but I hope so... it
looks killer! (And still faster than the Mac LC version with a TransWarp to
boot!)
