Hi Joseph,

Like what Clayburn said, you need to get a RAM upgrade asap.  4 meg RAM
cards from Sequential Systems are going for below $120, so you might
want to consider them.  With 4 meg installed, your IIGS will breathe new
life.  Other things you may want to consider adding (as and when you
have the extra cash) are, in order of importance IMHO, a SCSI card, a
Hard Disk and an accelerator card.  For your information, I have 8 meg
installed in my ROM 01, a RamFast SCSI with 1 meg cache, a Quantum 240
meg HD and a 9 Mhz Zip GSX with 64k cache.

For the latest System 6.0.1, you can get it from ftp.apple.com.  I'm not
sure if the sofware has been moved, but don't worry, there'll be others
to fill you in on this.  (I got my System 6.0.1 more than a year ago, so
I can't remember exactly :)
