PSPD release & NEW (All-Apple) ftp site

The 'PSPD.SHK' archive is the Polysons v5.1 Apple IIGS music, midi, sound
designer program (with all source codes).   Both the program and the source
codes are released to public domain.  Our 1WSW team member and the programs
author, Jean Pierre Charpentier has agreed to release them into the public
domain, in the hope that some other IIGS programmer may be able to continue
with updates and improvements to Polysons or even apply the src.code 
infomation within their own IIGS music programming efforts.  Jean Pierre, has 
a full time job as an IBM programmer, a new baby son, a daughter is expected 
(within the next
three weeks) and he simply has no time, to do any more with the program.

Polysons v5.1 is a unique and advanced program.  The only one of its kind,
ever developed for the IIGS.  It was formally a copyrighted freeware.  I
hope, with its release to the public domain, some talented IIGS programmer
or group of programmers, will continue with improvements and updates.

It's a very impressive MIDI sequencer, advanced sound designer and has many
potential development abilities.  The source codes are for the first
version, which was in French.  The program included with the source codes,
is the English translated version.

Should there be any need to verify the public domain release status of 
Polysons
v5.1 and its source codes, the authors name, address and telephone number
are listed below.  Please keep in mind, if you do need to call, (for any 
reason) that the
time difference from the US (pacific time zone) to France is 9 hours ahead.

The program and its src. codes - (PSPD.SHK) - the archive is now available 
for download from the following location: 

ftp://ftp.wco.com//mac/ftp/1wsw/incoming

Please note: This ALL NEW FTP site (ftp://ftp.wco.com//mac/ftp/1wsw) is now 
available for all Apples; supporting; Apple III thru PowerPC's.  Unlike the 
current status of the Incoming folder at Caltech, this ALL-NEW (All-Apple) 
ftp site will allow you to upload to the Incoming folder (or any other Apple 
model folder or folders) such as; Apple III, Apple II, Apple IIGS, Lisa, Mac 
and PowerPC, TechNotes, We.the.People, etc. and all text and/or archived 
files will become available for access and download, instantly!   Should you 
have any problems with this new (All-Apple) ftp site, please send email to: 
gbmaidsf@wco.com.

This ALL NEW (All Apple) ftp site has a total storage capacity of 999 megs.  
The PSPD.SHK archive, (with an info.txt file) is also being uploaded today 
(9/19/95), for release via; Caltech and Grind.

Jean and I, both hope the public domain release of Polysons and its source
codes will stimulate more productive programming and creative development
efforts, for the IIGS and its music users.
