Backfired... for now
Well, shoot. I was talking to the tech people at school (I didn't
give my presentation yet) and they told me that they were going scrap the
idea of getting Macs for the MIDI lab, and they were going to stick with
the Apple II's. I SINCERELY apologize to everyone who got excited about
receiving a II. I have no control over this matter, although I really
wish I did. There is still a chance in the future that they will get rid
of the II's and get macs, so if it's ok with everybody, I will keep all
the e-mail I received in an archive, so I will be ready for that day,
when it comes. Thank you ALL so much for the outstanding replies and
messages. They will come in very handy if and when I have to make my
"Save the II's" presentation.
Of course, the good news... Now that they are keeping the GS's, I am
making a presentation on why they should be expanded. I will of course
be plugging Zip boards, RamFASTs, and RAM-GS 4 meg memory cards. At
least this way, I'll be able to bring in some good sales to Sequential
Systems, QC, Alltech, and all the other "good guys" I can plug. I'll
keep everyone posted on what's happening.
Again, thanks for the incredible response! If anyone has any other
comments, feel free to e-mail me! Thanks!
