Hey APPLE II programming wizards!
I have an application on my APPLE II that creates a data disk that
is not in a APPLE DOS format. It just writes the data stream from
sector 0, cylinder 0 onward, without any directory info.
I would very much like an image of the disk on my PC for further
manipulation.
Do you know of a way to accomplish this?
My first try was to get the MatchpointPC hardware which allows
the PC to read APPLE DOS diskettes. Unfortunately, the software
will not copy a disk image--though it's just a matter of
software to do so. The company that made this hardware will not
help me out :<
So... do I reverse-engineer the MatchpointPC software to read the
disk as an image?? Do you have any technical information on this
hardware/software package that would be helpful?
Is there a kinder, simpler approach?
