You know what? I hate it when Mac-supremacists come on here and SLAM Windows and
Windows 95. Even a well-equipped Power Mac can be just as frustrating and just as
difficult and just as crash-prone as a Windows PC. And the thing that Windows 95 has
that Mac OS will never have? A command line. Yes, there's a learning curve, but if
you learn the system, COPY C:\WINWORD\DOCS\*.* A: sounds a lot faster and easier
than hunting for the Microsoft Word folder, then hunting for the Documents folder,
then using the Control key to cumulatively select all the files, and then moving
your windows around so the floppy disk icon is visible on the desktop, and then
dragging the whole mess to the floppy disk. I was at the MacWorld Expo in Boston
this summer. Macs, Macs, everywhere you looked. And it was STILL very comforting to
get back home to my familiar old Windows PC. So Mac-supremacists, please take a hike
and find your own newsgroup. Leave us Windows users in peace.
