Re: Moderation?

The truth of the matter is that about the last thing I want, or that the
Apple II world really needs, is csa2 being moderated.

My message was posted entirely out of frustration with the chaos that a
particular individual has been, IMHO, causing to our peaceful and
informative newsgroup.

It's just a bit disconcerting to see many of the remaining Apple II
programmers and developers, myself included, being attacked and verbally
harassed.

Sheesh. Nathan Mates, who for years has been one of csa2's most helpful
contributors, has just released a pretty cool GS program, and instead of
being able to relax and celebrate a little, he's having his integrity
questioned and has been under verbal attack. That, to me, is totally
unacceptable.

In the last weeks, we've seen a number of other respectable people come
under attack. And, that frustrates me and was the sole reason that I
posted a message about moderating the csa2 groups.

And, now, I suppose this brief message will also cause me to be put on the
'enemies list.' Oh well. If I get lumped in on the 'enemies list' with the
likes of Burger Bill, Henrik Gudat, Todd Whitesel, Ian Schmidt and Nathan
Mates, then I consider myself to be in fine company indeed.
