Who the heck is this Joe Gleason, what is his exact relationship to
you, etc. Pulling random names or degrees out of a hat isn't going to
fix a damn thing. Since I called you on the 2x4 readme, you finally
backed down and admitted that a lot of it was a load of manure. Are we
going to have to call you on every single lie (I would say "every
single word," but I'm assuming you know your name correctly) you put
out, or will you just decide to admit that you've been no more than a
pack of lies from the beginning?

It's not envy by a long shot. When I stop laughing at your garbage,
it's usually pity. As I'm about to show, you're the one full of envy
and spite, mostly because you simply can't compete with me or many
other GS supporters for truth content, quality original software, of a
clue in general, and you're projecting these hateful feelings onto
others. What's wrong? Too chicken to stand up and tell the truth like
a real human, or will you just be content to lie in the subhuman gutter
and take potshots at those who show you for what you really are?

Of what? You're trying to tell all of us that we're idiots, and
you're the true path to salvation? You honestly think that the entire
newsgroup here is a bunch of "ignorant and uninformed idiots?" May I
suggest a clue, sir: the person who has left reality sees everyone
else as "uninformed," but majority does make right. Just because you
think you're right, and everyone else wrong does not give you any
sort of status whatsoever. It just makes your true colors show up,
and gives everyone yet another reason to write you off as a nutball.

Well, I'll let my friends judge you for themselves. Since you've
just insulted everyone a paragraph up, I really don't care what further
insults you're trying to levy at them.

With your inadequate excuse for an Apple II related web page, I
thought you'd try and hush yours up. But, since you're trying to insult
my work, let's talk web pages. You were the first person in over eight
months to try and complain about bad links, so I called in a program
to verify my pages' links to other pages that I own. Here's the
result:

Now, let's see how many links there are, total:

Hmmm. 1.5% of my total links are bad, and could be fixed within the
hour. As you said above, "full of links that go no-where [sic]" If my
links are full of errors, then you're full of it. I was one of the first
to put up a large, comprehensive set of Apple II pages on the web last
summer, and when Brian Tao could no longer maintain the ones on io.org,
I was the one who gave them a new good home here. All of the above bad
links were from the files he gave me, and will be corrected shortly.
In addition, let's talk volume of Apple II info. The above set of
html files I mentioned total 766K of raw html text, with a good chunk
of it _properly_ converted to html by myself. For volume of useful
information content, my pages beat many others.
Let's take a comparison to your pages now. [If anyone cares to
verify what I'm saying, drop by "http://www.wco.com/~3d5d1wsw"; to see
for yourself.] You advertise that your pages should be viewed with
Netscape, a program which cannot run or display its images on the
Apple II, your organization sucks big hairy rocks, slamming everything
into a few huge files with no internal organization or anything else.
You say that you can't figure out how to do graphics or fix things
up, and put almost everything into ugly large fonts, centered on the
screen. I can only conclude that you're trying to make up for a lack
of real content by making it look big and ugly.
On the contrast, I verify that my pages work and look great when viewed
thru Lynx, a text-only viewer far closer to what the average Apple II
user connected to an internet service provider (including GEnie now
that it has www access) thru vt100. I made up the Apple II pages as a
service to those who want to get information, not be "entertained" by
a nice-looking lack of content.
Bottom line: I'm not forcing anybody to access my pages, but by the
virtue of their being there and being useful and good, they've racked
up the hits on their own. Here's the relevant sections of my counter
files. I only started keep statistics in February, while most Apple II
pages have been online since last summer, and the www server has had
some glitches so access counts are not always counted. Add anywhere
from 10% to 80% to get the real accesses:

You've just shown that you are very damn guilty of what you accuse
me of: EVNY. At least 9000 hits on my Apple II resources page, which
has links to all of the major ftp sites and newsgroups mentioned in
the csa2 FAQ is something you couldn't get even if your keyboard was
stuck on reload. Good quality pages like mine attract people; crappy
ones with ugly fonts, centering, and lack of a clue as to how to get
graphics working like yours don't.
As to this "dominate the Apple II web pages" bullshit of yours, I'm
not trying to dominate anything; I think you're just jealous of my
having done a far better job on my pages with useful information than
you could ever dream of. I dominate because of quality, pure and
simple. You know you can't hold a candle to mine, so a bunch of
pathetic insults here and on your page will suffice for you.
Since you think that my information is outdated, would you care
to specify exactly which pieces of information? You've been so full
of bullshit here and on the newsgroups that I await one _fact_ from
you. If you or anyone else reading my pages has a legitimate gripe
with the information therein, they're free to email me with precise
comments, and I'll try my best to fix it. Such a thing is far better
handled in email, not on this newsgroup.

No, I'd prefer not to try and locate the names you picked out of
the telephone book at random. But, that's not what I was criticizing
you for. When you started 1WSW, you included several people against
their wishes, and without any knowledge of that. They told you, in
polite terms, to go to hell. The list now may be only those who you
contacted, but you (surprise, surprise) lied about the inclusion of
others in the past.

Put it this way: I picked that VAMPS 2x4 doc at random. I bet I
could find 5 others on very short notice from the archive at grind
with the exact same garbage. Don't try and pass that off as humor;
that's technobabble in the worst degree: picking words and phantom
degrees at random to make yourself look good.
As to tha above paragraph, the key phrase is "in my own mind." In
case you hadn't noticed, we've been flaming you (and therefore your
mind, unless you are more psychotic than we'd suspected) for a lack of
grips on reality. You think that you're perfectly rational, and not
consuming mind-altering levels of substances. We can either conclude
that that is patently false, as demonstrated by your lack of coherency
and a clue, or we can conclude that the problem is not drugs, but poor
genetic material.

Problem is, I'm the one offering concrete proof of what I
say. Since you seem to be incapable of registering the facts the first
time, I decided to go all out and prove my case left and right. I
wouldn't have to have posted this at all if you'd shut up last week
like you promised; instead, your insecurities are showing through and
cannot stand to have anyone be other than "touchy-feely" all over your
expliots. (What a disgusting thought!)
Speaking of wasted bandwidth, you're the one filling here, grind,
and everything up with your psychobable, nonsensical posts, rotten
music, and ego. All these criticisms of me sound precisely like what
others have leveled at you for far longer. Merely repeating things
back at people is not the way to win a flamewar, or even to show a
shred of intelligence. Being rational, offering proof, and not lying
all the time is.
In short: there is documented evidence ("I'm leaving forever.. or
as long as it takes me to forget this sentence", "psychoacoustic 3D
sound") that you are a load of bullshit without relevance or a
clue. You have yet to demonstrate that you support the Apple II in any
way, shape or form beyond re-uploading things taken from old ftp sites
and CD-Roms, the VAMPS (or should I say "diahorrheal CRAMPS") series
of bad mod remixes better heard through a real MOD player, and a bunch
of sector-edited NTGS versions that crashed more than the original.

Despite your ego problem in claiming to have multiple PhDs that are
worth more than the paper they're printed on, claiming to be the one
in charge of judgement of others in the hereafter will get _you_ in
trouble, not me. Despite what you feel like when on pot, you are not
God. I suspect with this attitude problem of yours, you're a lot more
delusional than you suspect. Please seek professional help, and email
us from the loonie bin.
I don't have an inadequacy problem like you; I'm not going to
bother to archive these flames back at you on the web. I will let my
feelings be known in their proper context: a discussion on csa2. You,
however, have this irrational desire to get the last (untruthful) word
in at every chance, so you're putting up retorts on your web pages
without one tenth of the relevant context.
[I'm speaking of your hyperactive ventilation at a Mr. Todd
P. Whitesel on your web pages, a forum where he has no chance to
respond to your lies. Just because a person does NOT want to give out
their home phone number so that creeps and maggots like you can bother
them at every step of the way does not deserve a flame of any kind to
be visible to the whole world, most of which doesn't give a damn about
you and your trash]
