You might also consider looking into some other psychoacoustics work,
learning what it is and how it's done, and then asking Dr. Tom what he
did and how he did it, and what effect he expected to get from the transform.
I did this years ago. At the time I had access to two psychoacoustics
engineers at Purdue to tell me what to kas and how to understand the answers.
Dr. Tom knows a lot more than most people are capable of understanding,
and he was giving it all away free. That's a sadly common thing for
someone to get turned on and torn apart for.
If you want a hint on where to start looking to see if he knows what he
says he does, look up the US patent for the Omnisonic "honeybox". Find
out how that works. When you find the references for the sensory effects
in the literature, read up on it hard. Because when you ask him about
that, he'll tell you which is right and which is wrong, and why.
I've used some of the kinds of imaging equipment that does these effects.
I used to own several. Some of them are common in mid-range stereo
systems now. There's another place you can start researching. When you
learn enough about it -- IF you're really interested in the subject
rather than verbal carnivorie -- he can give you some more leads.
As to why others don't want their names tossed around, take a look at
peoples' behaviors in this thread. There's no better explanation needed.
