The IIc+ has a memory expansion slot.  I believe it supports Apple's
"Apple IIc Memory Expansion Card", which was designed for the 3rd
revision of the Apple IIc.  I don't know whether you can get this card
from anywhere.  It supports up to 1 megabyte of RAM in 256K increments.

I very much doubt that the IIc+ will support other IIc memory cards
such as the Z-RAM, as the IIc has a substantially different circuit
layout in the region of the CPU, which is likely to prevent the RAM
cards from plugging into the appropriate sockets (CPU and MMU, if I
remember right).

Not directly.  The SmartPort hard drives are actually SCSI hard drives
will a SmartPort-to-SCSI interface board.
