i may be wrong, but i think you just "exec a2binscii.exe" from applesoft 
to generate the system file, which can then be run with "- <filename>"
but i could be quite wrong.

get it to the dos partition? the above should create something that is 
dash runnable from the BASIC (prodos) prompt.

ah yes, i remember that fun. that's what forced me to learn about binscii 
running on unix boxes. any chance of connecting your mac and apple// 
together with a serial cable?
also, look carefully on the apple ftp site - there may be a version of 
what you need stored in a mac archive. the mac can unarchive it straight 
to a prodos disk.
