Well, I on the other hand, used my SyQuest 105 drive for years with PC,
Mac, and GS (as the main hard drive) now, and I never had any problem
(well, once, but I send the cartridge back and SyQuest gave me a new
one--and it worked fine ever since.). Although I can't contest to the 8'
drop, but they were still pretty reliable. In any case, I think either
syquest or zip, these drives are still too expensive--with the same price
of the drive, I could buy a 300-500MB hard drive.
