GS Port speed

I'm trying to find the patches that let one increase the speed on the 
modem port. I remember seeing them, but can't remember the name. 
 
I'm also wondering about ProTERM. What is the fastest setting you can use 
on ProTERM? My friend uses 3.0, and can only set the port as high as 
38,400. I'd like to be able to set the port faster, so that I could use 
the 14.4K modem to it's full potential, but I don't know what software 
will allow me to do it.
