I had opportunity to see Kevin Johnson (designer of the Juice+ and
most--but but all--of Applied Ingenuity's hardware) in action over a span
of several years.  I also got a chance to meet and speak with Drew Vogan
(of CVT fame) many times.  Both of these gents were/are top-caliber
digital circuit card designers who knew the Apple II as well as anyone in
the field.  Interestingly, they each admired and praised the other's
circuit card design prowess often--one expert acknowledging the work of
another expert.
