HI!
When I was quite young, during the early days of Incider, I
remember a product called Supersprite, which as it's name implies,
allowed sprite graphics on Apple II's, though not the IIc because of the
lack of slots. I'm just wondering if anyone remembers that and maybe know why it seemed to
it disappeared not too long afterward. I thought it would be great for the
Apple II then (I was kid and didn't know any better.) Being unable to
work on the IIc was probably the cause, (correct me if I'm wrong but I
think it was released before the IIc.)
A same question for the Mockingboard, it stuck around for a
pretty long time and supported all Apple II's, but why didn't software
developers support it? I have a few games, but the majority of
software programs didn't. The II's graphics ans sound capabilities
were sorely lacking and these products would have changed that.
