Appleworks 4.3 and 5.1

I have noticed an interesting problem with Appleworks 4.3 and 5.1, also 
4.0 and 5.0 and this has also been seen by a friend who just got 5.0 and 
the 5.1 upgrade. If I launch AW from GSOS on a ROM 3 with HD etc. everything
works fine. I quit from AW, get back to the finder and then descide I want to
work with AW again. I launch AW and the system starts to load and then crashes
to the moniter. If I do a contol reset the AW menues come up and everything 
seems okay but I'm not sure?? If I first run say Pro term and quit before
running AW the second time I don't get any of this strange behavior.

	My question:  Has anyone else seen this and if so does anyone know 
what is going on and also is there a patch or fix. BTW this is happening with
the basic AW installed with the installer disc and no further enhancements 
or other TO modules etc.
