Wanting to Rid Files of Mac Resource Forks

It seems that all I do on this newsgroup is whine. :-)

Recently, I got some GIFs and other files from a friend who owns a Mac. He put
them on disk and handed it to me. Well, it turns out that they all have a Mac
resource fork. Now, all my GIF programs (except SHRC) can still read them, but
I would like to have the forks rid of, anyway. They mess up my BBS.

I have the Optimizer (by SoftDisk), but it doesn't remove Mac resforks, just
GS. Is there a utility out there (PD or otherwise) that can strip Mac resforks
out of flat files like GIF and MOD?
