I'd have to say that the LCD doesn't really make a portable out of a //c. It
just sits on top, it's not attached, so it can slide off easily. Plus it's
really not that good a display. Then there's the no battery or hard disk 
problem.

You could get a powerbook and use STM, a software emulator. That's the best
bet as it is.
