The Finder's "Print" command is not always dimmed.  If you select an
icon (or icons), and select "Print", the Finder will launch the
appropriate application, just as if you had opened them.  Once the
application takes control, it is supposed to print the documents;
unfortunately, very few applications implement this correctly (not
even Apple's own Teach).

It is also unfortunate that the IIgs Finder doesn't have a "Print
Window" command, like it's Mac counterpart, so that users can get a
hard copy of folder views.
