Hmmm! When I poewered up my CV Tech board with an additional 2 Meg, making
3Meg on the board and a 4th Meg on the poiggybacked Apple Ram board on
my ROM 1 IIGS, I had to turn off the DMA on my Apple High Speed SCSI Card
in order to get it to work prioperly...the tech at LRO (now OTher World)
suggested this as the last of a series of steps to get things working
right...the ZIP is a v. 1.02 7MHz/8k and supposed to be the later design...
sure would appreciate additional suggestions in re how to get these working
together and using DMA..."plans" are to get some cache memory for the
ZIP and then get a faster 65816 and crystal, etc. and boost the speed...
having DMA enabled would be an added benefit.
Suggestions?
