Actually, ProTerm's editor should do nicely. When you tell it to load, it 
will prompt you for a starting point. Pick the start of the file and 
ProTerm will load what it can and then report that it is full. You may 
then view this portion. Save it as another text file or as AppleWorks and 
then move on to the next section. Since you won't be able to read 
everything, you'll probably get overlap in the sections that need to be 
edited out, but you will be able to break up the file. There may be other 
ways, but I never came across a file that big myself.
