This is how I see this this, having been on c.s.a2 for under a year 
after several years away...  I don't know who any of the involved are
and neither have I seen any of the programs involved.  This is just
the impression I get.  Sad but true.


Dr.Tom:  I'm getting a bad reputation and I don't like it.  It's not 
         fair.  If people don't start being nice to me, I'm going to
         go and take all my wonderful programs with me.  So there.

c.s.a2:  Go on then.  See who notices.

Dr.Tom:  Right!  That's it.  I'm going.  You'll be sorry.  To everyone
         who supported me (thanks Mom) you can blame everyone else for
         the loss of me from this group.  GOODBYE.

[time passes]

c.s.a2:  Ahhh...  It's nice and polite in here these days isn't it?

c.s.a2:  Yes, lovely.  Helpful too.

Dr.Tom:  (to himself) Got no friends...  No-one who knows me takes any
         notice.  Sniff.  

[time passes]

Dr.Tom:  I'M BACK!  And I've got lots of wonderful programs for anyone
         who's never heard of me before!  And look!  Lots of people
         like me - here's some mail I edited, er... received.

Open letter to Dr. Tom

2.   Stop posting your moans/groans/recriminations to this group.  It's 
     BORING.
