The 3.6MHz crystal is the serial port clock; replacing that with a
faster crystal will just make your serial ports useless.
I believe the main system timing is derived from the 14MHz video
dot clock.
In short, you can't speed up the GS by dropping in a faster crystal.
You need a card like the Zip GS.
