Paintworks Gold on SCSI disk?

How can I correctly/usefully install Paintworks Gold on a SCSI
disk? The relevant configuration is:

Apple IIgs (of course!)
1.25 meg memory
QC SCSI disk
Apple SCSI card

I have attempted to run Paintworks Gold under all versions of
the OS that I can get my hands on, fom ProDOS 16 V?.? throught
GS/OS V6.1, but it displays the splash screen and then crashes.
It still run fine when I boot the distribution diskette, but
that does not recognize the SCSI disk. 

I do NOT have a subscription to Delphi, GEnie, or whatever. I
can probably pick things up from an anonymous FTP site, though.

Please reply by mail if possible, as I am unable to follow
usenet news regularly. I will abstract all information I get,
and post a follow-up article in a couple weeks.
