Slot 3 Traffic Jam

I've just acquired a Video Overlay Card. The manual says, "You MUST 
insert the card in slot 3". I want to install it in my ROM 01 gs but ... 

I already have my Transwarp GS in slot 3. THE GS+ Review of the Second 
Sight VGA Video Card suggests that a Transwarp could be moved to slot 4. 
However, the Transwarp manual says the card should be in slot 3 and the 
cable which attaches the Transwarp to the cpu socket is so short that the 
Transwarp won't reach slot 4 or any other slot.

Anybody have a suggestion about how to work around this?
