The Apple File Exchange came with System Software (MacOS) versions
before 7.5 (possibly before 7.1--I can't remember for sure). Apple has
System 7.0.1 and earlier software on it's ftp.support.apple.com
anonymous FTP site:

ftp.support.apple.com:/pub/apple_sw_updates/US/Macintosh/system_sw/system_7.0.1/

Your guess is as good as mine as to which disk the AFE is on!

You must also get an AFE Translator (the Works-to-Works translator) to
translate AppleWorks files as it doesn't come with the AFE in System
Software:

  ftp://mirrors.aol.com/pub/info-mac/cmp/afe-appleworks-msworks.hqx
