A disk image of Lode Runner is availabe from ftp.sed.uga.edu in the
directory
/apple_ii/images
as either file
Load Runner.gz or Loderunner.dsk.gz
(you'll also find Champ_Loderunner.dsk.gz there as well.)

As far as shareware goes, ftp.uni-kl.de is an excellent site, but
intercontinental ftp can be slow at times.
The old game that I'm looking for is "Bouncing Kamungas" (may not
be the correct spelling.) You're a watermelon farmer who has to
defend your crops against these creatures that fall out of the sky;
you can kill them with your pitchfork, but you've got to watch out
for lightning... And at the end of each season you get to drive the
melons to town!
Oh cool - I just found it! It's in Bouncing.do.gz in the tar-file
Apple_ii/incoming/action.tar on ftp.sed.uga.edu. Neat.
