I've seen the output from a lot of these "HTML" editors, or modes for
editors, like MS-Word's nasty HTML output. As you might guess, I'm not
impressed by them. Typically, really good web pages have to be
handcrafted, even if you use some newfangled HTML WYSIWYG editors.
Check the AT&T Web Development Team members' pages. You'll find two
things: (1) Most of them are written in vi (some folks use emacs), and
(2) I'm sure that I'm correct in saying that vi is the most popular tool
for developing/editing our site...

HTML is *really* simple to learn. If you know any other markup languages
like [nt]roff, SGML, etc., it's trivial.
