Harmonie requires System 5.0 or higher.  So it should work on a system
without a hard drive running either 5.0.4 or 6.0.1.

System 6.0.1 can be run without a hard drive but it would be a very
crippled version.

Hard drive prices have fallen dramatically over the last few years but
whether or not they are 'cheap' is all relative to one's pocketbook.  If
20 megs is sufficient and you do not want to add other SCSI devices,
Alltech sells the 20 meg FOCUS Hard Card (a hard drive on an interface
card) for $89.
