I just bumped my Zip card over to slot 2 when I installed my Second Sight. I'm
tempted to look at the slot modification they describe in the manual so I can
use a slot other than 3 on a ROM 01 though.

I haven't tried it out with any fast games yet either, but jeesh does this
thing make using the GS a delight once again. My original Apple RGB was also
dying (getting faint with the brightness and contrast turned all the way up)
which is one reason I bought one. Using a nice, big, colorful, _sharp_ SVGA
monitor makes both text and GUI programs really nice!
