I was involved with it to some degree, offering the developer moral
support and whatever else he might need that I could offer. However I'm no
longer involved with anything for the IIGS.  I'm only concerned with the
MAC from now on. I can't furnish any more information on the IIGS emulator
for the MAC and Power MAC other than to say, it's still under development
and will (most likely) be released by the end of this year.  It's being
developed by an individual, who is (IMHO) the best, most talented and
devoted IIGS programmer around!  Hopefully, his efforts will be
appreciated more than mine were.  I'm not a programmer and never claimed
to be!

I had so many amazing software and hardware projects in progress, for the
IIGS, that I was coordinating the development of, with ample amounts of
venture capital, programming talents and motivation.  Now, they have all
been abandoned.  Perhaps somebody else will continue with them.  They are
of no more concern to me any longer.

Sure. Hey, I'm a ][gs user, but my programming background is in Applesoft,
6502, and DOS 3.3. So until I come up with a 65C816 assembler and learn
how to use it, I've got to take what I can get in the way of software
support. Therefore, any little bit of code out there is one step further
away from cybernetic oblivion...after all, who remembers the PET, the
TRS-80/IV, the Acorn, the Adam, the Sinclair ZX-81,.......

You deserved to be showered with praise.  If every IIGS user, programmer,
developer and promoter had the attitude you have, then the IIGS world
would still be cursed or blessed with my presents, depending on how they
perceived what I had done and was currently doing.  But, few of them have
the attitude you have and that's why I gave up and decided to leave it all
to them to deal with themselves!

Thanks again for the positive attitude towards the IIGS.  Wish I still had
the same attitude.  I did all I could and I can't do NO MORE!

I do beleive you and I do trust you.  I wish I could stay and do more for
the IIGS World.  However, I've been flamed, ragged on, dished and publicly
damned to the degree that I simply don't care to continue with any efforts
with the IIGS any longer.  Sorry to have to say it, but I just can't sit
around and watch it all go up in flames of ignorance any longer, knowing
that my presents can do nothing to help. I have given up!  You are a good
person.  You put up with it all and don't let it bother you.  The IIGS
World needs more people like you, not like me.  Sorry, but I have to leave
the GS world.  Nothing I do matters any more!

Is this the usual 1WSW quality work (ahem), or did they actually release
something worthwhile? The 1WSW directory contains a lot of stuff, so much
indeed I am loath to download it all. did anyone go to the trouble of
sifting through it and seeing whether there are any nuggets among the
rubble?

What more can I say to somebody so wise, who always ends with "I don't
know what it is he's doing, it must be art".  Well, Soenke, your last
comments above said it all.  Nothing I've done (to you) seems to be
worthwhile.  As you consider it all to be just a lot of stuff.  Some
people have indeed gone to the trouble to sift through it and see whether
there were any nuggets amoung the rubble.  (IMHO) there were a lot. 
That's why I uploaded them all.  Take the time and effort to take a SECOND
look at them all.  You might be amazed at some of the nuggets you'll find
there.  Rest assured, I won't bother you or any others like you with any
more RUBBLE again!

Please don't tell me it's for real, I've heard them, read your docs, etc.

Why do you do it? IAll it's gotten you is negativity from the entire Apple

ps - Do you have any more unreleased GS titles? I enjoyed the MDIdeas
X-MAS jubebox you uploaded, it turned out to be a Phasor emulator for the
IIgs! Or that MIDI Convertor 0.7 program... Release what you have, but
don't modify it. Add text file with notes from you or whatever, but none
of that VAMPS, FreeOS and other sector edited nonsense please.

So many of your statements are simply based on what you've seen others do
and then release using my name, what you've been told by them about me,
that you can't form your own conclusions.  You base most of your
accusations on others informing you of them.  You've never bothered to
contact me before now, to discuss any of these accusations of yours.
Yes Mitch, I had an entire draw full of ASTOUNDING unreleased GS titles. 
You and the entire IIGS World can rest assured, that basically because of
your IGNORANT and EVER SO BLUNT COMMENTS, concerning my 3 years of efforts
on the IIGS, I've totally abandoned all projects, efforts and everything
concerning the IIGS.  I've deleted and erased every single last
(UNRELEASED) GS title I had, disolved both;1WSW and OSRL, including all
efforts, development, etc. with any software and hardware projects in
progress.  And, they were some amazing IIGS projects indeed! They were all
planned for release during this year as FREEWARE. You'll never have to
concern yourself with anything of mine again.
P.S.  BTW, Mitch, when are you going to finish up your wonderful
contributions to MODZap v?, so Ian can release it?
