Sounds like your upper bank of memory (the upper 64K) might have a bad
RAM chip in it. Do an:
Open-Apple--Closed-Apple--Control--Reset
To start the self-test. If anything shows up (and you don't understand
it), post it to the `Net.

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere (like in the power supply's
connection to the logic board). Ever opened your //e and tried to
reseat the power brick's connections?
