Not quite, but close to it. Because the 8MHz Zip is a caching
system, sometimes the machine will be running at the slow 1MHz
to do I/O or fill the cache with data from slow memory.

I've never heard of that. We have Zip Chips in our IIe's at Sequential
and they work great.
