Success High Audio on GS!!!
Okay, I might have exaggerated a bit, but it is the BEST audio output
I have heard from ANY GS so far.....
I did some Digital Audio Extraction stuff on the Mac, tweaked the output
file to a 44.1khz 8 bit mono WAV file.... Trucked the 9 meg sound file
to the GS via Appletalk.... And use Oversampler.....
Better yet, I was able to use 2X oversampling within Oversampler as well!!!
That means yes 88.2 khz sustained sound from the GS from the HD feed.
Nice and clean even.... It takes some experimenting but if you drop the
9.5 to 11khz bands down sufficiently you get rid of ALOT of the GS hiss....
but some is still due to the 8bit format though...
Anyhow, Now to to do some more work on an idea I have had for embedded
Graphics and Audio streaming.... Should make for a semi-cool Second Sight
App anyways :)
