Lets have some fun :)

First, it's off to California to steal Gabe's Zip Chip (15.5+Mhz/64k)
or find out where Matt Portune lives, and grab his 16Mhz/64k. :)

Then, pay a friendly visit to Tony Diaz and snag his Ethernet card.

Find a VOC card and some Midi stuff.

Call up Jawaid at Sequential Systems and get a 4MB RAM card for $139.
Or, better yet, find yerself a 8MB OctoRam or something like that.
While you've got 'waid on the phone, order gno/me for $89, a
RamFAST SCSI card for $139-$159 or so, and the Second Sight board
for $159-$199 (24-bit vers of course!).

That SCSI card looks lonely!  Get a fast Gig drive and a IO Mega Zip
drive, and put ProSel 16 v8.84 on it! ($89 or so from Charlie's Apple
Seeds).  Also, a BlueDisk Controller and 1.4MB drive would be nice :)

Read the GS music FAQ and get yerself the best sound card you can
afford.  Go and grab BeatBox, MODZap, and soniqTracker from yer
favorite ftp site (ftp.stolaf.edu :) ).

Drive up to Minnesota, bring some disks, and while Derek or James isn't
looking, grab yerself a copy of GS/TCP and "The Salad Shooter" (gs web). :)
Then it's off to the east coast for a couple of months to look for
daver's real address and a copy of aurorairc. :)

Top it all off with a LaserWriter IINT or IINTX, and a whole slew of
software, such as Sys6.0.1, ApleWorks v5.0, ProTERM v3.1, Prizm, etc.

Ok, a lot of this was tongue in cheek (grep :) ).  The 4MB RAM, RamFAST
SCSI card, Second Sight, a sound card, a 10Mhz/64k Zip, and HD
would make quite a powerful GS imo.  I myself have 2MB RAM (desperately
looking for 4MB used), a 8/64k (soon 14/64k) Zip, a Vulcan 40MB drive,
an Apple High-Speed SCSI card (not as fast as the RamFAST) connected
to a 44MB SyQuest removable, and the system performs like a champ.
