SOS 1.3

Okay, from reading the a3 FAQ, I've learned that I have an old version of
SOS <v 1.1 to be precise>.. How do I go about obtaining the recommended
version 1.3?  A friend and I have been trying to get some term programs to
run <AE Pro I believe is the main one> and have run into problems. The systems
utilities disk I have will catalog the ProDOS format disk fine, but typing
CATALOG from a Business Basic prompt <this is the only thing I have that gives
me non-menued control over the system, is there some other 'shell' program
I'm missing?> gives me the volume name, but then locks the screen into 4
columns and scrolling the directory in that narrow window.  The disk also
will not boot.  From what I know, AE Pro has an apple 3 config option in it.
Anyone have some tips on how to update my OS, or get this to work?
