AE TRANSWARP IIE ACCELERATOR CARD:
CAN FASTER ON-BOARD RAM BE ADDED TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE?
========================================================
My first A2 accelerator was an "original Transwarp" for the IIe, by Applied
Engineering. These were cleared out for $89 back in 1991.
This card has eight RAM chips if "fast ram," 1259-12, 120 nsec speed.
I have some spare chips of 256-8 (80 nsec speed). Could these be
added in place of the 1259-12 chips? Any complications or
incompatibilities?
Comments appreciated.
