  Because we can offer a lower price on the 8-bit version. This
will be especially good for IIe users, IIGS users on a tight budget,
and schools.

   Nope. Same card, different DACs, slower DRAMs. (In 640x480 TrueColor
mode, the DAC is receiving data at 78MHz).
