How can I install Test Drive II (and possibly Grand Prix Circuit) on my
hard drive. I have an 85 meg hard drive in 4 partitions (startup,
programs, games, and data, in that order). I realize that ProDOS 16 will
only deal with the first 2 partitions (startup and programs) and this is
not a problem. I already have made /Startup into a play disk, but I want
to be able to boot from hard disk too. I have a cracked copy (and an
original) so that's not the problem. I have read files that say to
change all references to /TD2.MASTER/ to */. I have a block editor and
know how to use it, but how do I replace one string with another of
unequal length? I have tried the French HDINSTALL disk, but can't
understand the French well enough and can't figure it out. All I want to
do is be able to double-click a program on my hard drive from the finder
and have it load off my hard drive, which I'm pretty sure can be done.
Somebody help me please.
