Bought one recently. Mine seems relatively noise free although not a
quiet as I had expected given the hype. However I've had other
problems

The control panel sound sliders have no effect. Has anyone else had
this problem. Can anyone help?

Getting a good microphone recording with Digital Session has been
beyond me. Volume is way down and pushing it up with the program
pushes up the noise as well. If there's a filter to eliminate this, I
haven't been able to figure out which one it is or how to use it. The
docs are useless. BTW I've tried two very different microphones, a
high quality Sony stereo mic and the cheapo that came with
HyperStudio.

The left right orientation of the two sound outputs is reversed. Is
this deliberate or just a mistake?

Thanks for any answers.

:)
