: I'm much happier with a CLI when using an online service - text interfaces
: are faster, for one thing, and tend to allow for a little more control
: over your environment.
: All this whoo-raw about GUI =-= particularly when it comes to online
: services - just makes me wonder.. we spend all this time worrying about
: how much time we spend online, then we go out of our way to increase that
: time. Grantee, maybe only a percent or two - but that can add up fast.
: I'd like ONE example of why a GUI is better than CLI in this regard.
It is easier for newbies to manuever arounnd with a GUI, but I agree,
those that know what they are doing are better off with a text-based
interface.
