since you got so little, why not do what I did - simply buy the new
system?  I have two IIGSs (and some other AppleII systems) and a Mac.  I
use the Mac for net access, and my primary IIGS for darn near everything
else.

Besides, ANY  computer you buy today will be "worthless" in two years
anyway.  As long as it works, and does what you need it to do, no computer
is obsolete.  It may be not "cutting edge" but that is hardly a
requirement for most  of us
