This may be a crazy suggestion, but try turning off the PC exchange and
then run an (old) copy of the Apple File Exchange. I have *NO* idea if
this would work, but it might be worth a shot.
You could also try getting a copy of the ProDOS File System extension
from the Apple //e Card installation disk and installing it (with PC
Exchange turned off).
I have no solid basis for why these would work, except that you might
get luck with the AFE. Although...the ProDOS FS extension probably
allows the Mac LC series to see the ProDOS partition on its own hard
drive.
