Considering that this would be incompatible with ProDOS, and thus break all
existing disk utilities, there is no advantage to this which using HFS does
not have. Plus HFS is compatible with other platforms and you can maintain
your disks using another machine. So this would be superfluous. Any effort
towards a better file system should go into making HFS work better and into
creating tools to work on HFS disks.
